From a young age, I struggled with asthma and allergies, but I was determined to live my best life despite these challenges. Through my own experiences, I discovered the power of listening to my body and identifying triggers that could worsen my asthma symptoms. This heightened awareness helped me realize my physical capabilities and excel in sports and outdoor activities. With a strong sports background, having played baseball for 17 years and participating in various obstacle races and extreme activities, I fully embraced the importance of physical fitness.
As a Natural/Holistic Nutritional Counsellor, I understand that each individual is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to achieving optimal health. My goal is to uncover the root cause of imbalances and guide the body towards healing itself.
Having dealt with asthma and allergies for over 20 years, these conditions ultimately paved the way for my career as a nutritionist and fitness coach. I immersed myself in nutrition education to understand the foods that would nourish my body, promote strength, and reduce my asthma symptoms. Simultaneously, I delved into physical training to complement my eating plan with the right exercises and conditioning.
I am committed to empowering my clients to make positive changes in their lives through personalized nutritional counselling. I combine my in-depth knowledge of Human Anatomy, Nutritional Symptomatology, and Preventative Health Care to develop well-rounded and evidence-based plans tailored to each person's distinct biochemistry.
Throughout my journey, I discovered that what we eat shapes who we become, and what we believe manifests in our lives. I firmly believe that living a healthy lifestyle begins with nourishing the body with proper nutrition and adopting healthy eating habits. It also involves maintaining a strong physique through physical activity and incorporating relaxation practices such as meditation and breathing techniques.
With a focus on science-based and balanced nutrition, I aim to improve nutrition literacy, shifting away from generic diets to a whole-body personalized approach.
